Handmade vs manufactured products
Etsy's platform rules distinguish between handmade goods (made by the seller) and manufactured products (factory-made). Handmade items don't need barcodes on Etsy. Manufactured products technically should have a GTIN — though Etsy doesn't enforce this as strictly as Amazon.
